  1. 1 cup whole wheat (gehun), soaked overnight

  2. 1/4 cup soaked kala chana (brown chick peas)

  3. For the garlic chutney--

  4. 1/2 cup garlic (lehsun) cloves

  5. 2 green chillies

  6. salt to taste

  1. Wash and mix both wheat and black chick pea (kala chana) and pressure cook with sufficient water.

  2. Mean while grind the cloves green chilli with salt and little water.

  3. This is your garlic chutney.

  4. To reduce smell of garlic you can add few drops of lime juice (optional).

  5. Now drain water from chana, wheat mixture.

  6. Sprinkle some salt.

  7. Serve hot with garlic chutney.
