  19. 8 tb Unsalted butter (marg/short)

  20. At room temp

  21. 1/3 c Brown sugar

  1. Preheat ovento 350~.

  2. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, & salt.

  3. With an electric mixer at medium-low speed, beat butter, & sugar until fluffy.

  4. Beat in egg, & vanilla.

  5. Reduce speed to low, & beat in flour mixture until just combined.

  6. Stir in oats and raisins.

  7. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, about 3" apart.

  8. Bake 8-11 min.

  9. Cool on sheets 1 min before moving to wire racks.
