  1. 1 large onion, sliced -

  2. 2 1/2 pounds boneless pork roast -

  3. 1 cup hot water -

  4. 1/4 cup white sugar -

  5. 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar -

  6. 2 tablespoons soy sauce -

  7. 1 tablespoon ketchup -

  8. 1 teaspoon salt -

  9. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper -

  10. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  1. Arrange onion slices evenly over the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the roast on top of the onion. In a small bowl, mix together remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.
