  1. Those cakes are from the mother of a friend and really delicious!

  2. APPLE TART

  3. 75 g sugar

  4. 75 g butter

  5. 1/2 pkg baking powder (about 1 tsp)

  6. 1 kg peeled and cut in pieces

  7. 3/4 l cider (apple wine)

  8. 250 g sugar

  9. 2 pkg vanilla sugar (5-6 tsp)

  10. For Dough: --

  11. Knead ingredients together and put in a pan. Be sure to pull the dough

  12. up so that the brim is covered as well (only the inside, that is...).

  13. For Topping: --

  14. Boil cider with sugar, vanilla sugar and pudding. Add apple pieces and boil until the apples become soft. Fill the cider-apple-pudding in the pan on the dough.

  15. 175 deg C for about 90 minutes.

  17. 165 deg C.

  18. Take out of the oven, let cool down and put over night in the

  19. refridgerator. Serve with lots of whipped cream. %%

  20. APRICOT PUDDING CAKE

  21. Dough: --

  22. 180g flour

  23. 80g sugar

  24. 1/2 tsp baking powder

  25. 80 g butter

  26. 1 egg

  27. little grated lemon peel

  28. Sieve flour and baking powder, add other ingredients and knead together. Lay on a cookie sheet so that you have a smooth layer of dough. Streusel: --

  29. 200 g flour

  30. 125 g sugar

  31. 125 g margarine

  32. 1 pkg vanilla sugar (2-3 tsp)

  33. 1 pinch cinnamon (to taste)

  34. Knead ingredients together.

  35. Topping: --

  36. 4 cups whipping cream

  37. 2 pkg vanilla pudding (1 pkg is for 1/2 l milk)

  38. 2 cans apricots (ca. 400g each)

  39. Boil pudding with whipping cream and stir constantly to avoid forming of

  40. a skin. Spread on the dough layer.

  41. Spread apricots evenly on the pudding and cover with Streusel.

  42. 175 deg C for 40 minutes in a hot air oven. %%

  43. FAST FRUIT CAKE

  44. 100 g sugar

  45. 2 eggs

  46. 100 g flour

  47. Any fruit you like...

  48. Stirr eggs and sugar until foamy. Gradually stir in flour.

  49. Put in a fatted pan for tart pastries (a big shallow pan).

  53. MARBLE CAKE

  54. Ingredients: --

  55. 200 g sugar

  56. 250 g butter or margarine

  57. 1 pkg Bourbon vanilla sugar (2-3 tsp)

  58. 3 drop bitter almond oil

  59. 1 pinch salt

  60. 4--6 eggs

  61. 1 pkg baking powder (2-3 tsp)

  62. 500 g flour

  63. 1/2 cup water with a little bit soda water

  64. 3 tblsp Nesquick cocoa

  65. Instructions: --

  66. Stir sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla sugar, salt and bitter almond oil until foamy.

  67. Mix flour with baking powder in the above made mixture and stir in

  68. water. The dough should be rather tough and not too wet.

  69. Oil baking pan, and dress with bread-crumbs. Fill in two thirds of the

  70. dough. Stir in cocoa in the other part of the dough and add a bit of water

  71. until the consistency of the cocoa dough matches that of the light dough.
