  1. 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine About 4-1/2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar About 5 Tablespoons milk

  2. 1-1/2 Tablespoons light corn syrup

  3. 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  1. Preparation: Brown butter or margarine untiil golden in a saucepan large enough for mixing frosting. Add sugar alternately with milk, corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Spread over cold cake .
