  1. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Flour

  2. 2 teaspoons 10ml Baking powder

  3. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Sugar

  4. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  5. Milk - as needed

  1. Sift dry ingredients together and slowly stir in enough milk to make a batter stiff as that for baking-powder biscuits. Pat dough out 1/2 inch thick, and cut into rounds. Arrange rounds close together in buttered top of a small steamer. Cover and cook for 12 minutes.
