  1. 1 cup butter, or margarine

  2. 1 cup sugar

  3. 1 cup confectioner's sugar

  4. 1 cup cooking oil

  5. 2 each eggs

  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  7. 4 cup flour

  8. 1 teaspoon soda

  9. 2 teaspoon cream of tartar

  10. 2 cups of flour with soda and cream of tartar and add to egg mixture. Stir in remaining

  11. 2 cups of flour. Mix well. Refrigerate

  12. 4 hours or more. Shape dough into walnut-sized balls. Place on well-greased cookie sheet

  13. 4 inches apart. Flatten with flat bottomed damp glass dipped in sugar. Bake at

  14. 350 degrees

  15. 13-14 minutes until delicately browned.
