  1. 1 1/2 lbs. of lean ground turkey

  2. 2 medium onions diced

  3. 1 1/2. tsps. oregano

  4. 1 1/2. tsps. cumin

  5. 1 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes undrained

  6. 3 C. chicken stock (homemade if you have it )

  7. 8 oz. tomato sauce

  8. 1 TBS. chili powder

  9. 2 bay leaves

  10. 1 tsp. salt

  11. 1/2 tsp. pepper

  12. 3 cans of any white bean drained and rinsed (White kidney,Great Northern etc.)

  13. Add any "hotness" to your liking. My husband likes red pepper flakes

  1. In a dutch oven brown turkey for 5 minutes.

  2. Add onions and cook another 5 minutes.

  3. Add oregano and cumin cook 1 minute.

  4. Stir in tomatoes,chicken stock, chili powder,salt, pepper, and bay leaves.(Now would be a good time to add your "hotness" of choice. Stir.

  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat,cover,and simmer 45 minutes.

  6. Remove lid, add beans and heat until cooked through.
