  8. 8 ounces French bread baguette -- cut into 1/4 in roun

  9. 1/2 cup Unsalted butter -- melted

  10. 3 cups Whipping cream

  11. 1 cup Milk

  12. 1 tablespoon Vanilla

  13. 8 large Egg yolks

  14. 2 lg Eggs

  15. 8 oz Semisweet choc; melted

  16. 1/2 c Sugar Preheat

  17. oven to 350

  18. Arrange bread slices on heavy large cookie sheet. Brush

  19. with melted butter. Bake until crisp, about 15 min. Cool.

  20. Heat 3 cups cream & milk in heavy saucepan over med heat until just

  21. warm to touch. Wisk yolks, eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt in med bowl.

  22. Gradually whisk in warm cream mixture. Place chocolate in large bowl.

  24. 2 in high sides.

  29. Place cake pan in large baking pan. Add enough

  30. water to baking pan to come halfway up sides of pudding. Bake until

  31. knife inserted in center of pudding comes out clean, about 1 hour.
