  1. 1/4 cup corn oil

  2. 2 tablespoons wine vinegar

  3. 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  4. 1 tablespoon chopped onion

  5. 1 clove garlic -- minced

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons minced ginger root

  7. 1 pound flank steak

  1. Preparation : In shallow glass baking dish, combine all ingredients except meat -- add steak. Cover -- refrigerate, turning occasionally, several hours or overnight. Remove steak from marinade. Grill or broil 6 inches from heat, turning once, 8 minutes for medium rare or until desired doneness. Thinly slice diagonally across grain.
