  1. 4 raw beetroot , peeled

  2. 4 apples , cored if preferred

  3. 1 pomegranate , seeds only

  4. 2 cm ginger

  5. 1/2 lemons , peeled

  6. 1 banana , peeled

  7. 1 tsp honey , or more to taste

  1. Put the beetroot, apples, pomegranate (reserve a few seeds for garnish if desired), lemon and ginger through a juice extractor.

  2. Transfer the mixed juice to a blender, add the banana and honey and whiz until smooth. Taste and add more honey if you like it sweeter.

  3. Pour into a glass and serve, garnished with the reserved pomegranate seeds if desired.
