  3. 2/3 cup corn syrup

  4. 2 cups sugar

  5. 2/3 cup boiling water

  6. 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

  7. 2 tablespoons vinegar

  8. 2 tablespoons melted butter

  9. 2 teaspoons vanilla

  10. 1/8 teaspoon baking soda

  1. Pop corn. Place in large pan. Combine syrup, sugar, water, and vinegar. Heat to boiling. Add cream of tartar. Boil to soft crack stage (275-280 degrees). Remove from heat. Add butter, baking soda, and vanilla. Pour over popcorn. Form into balls.
