  1. Sausage-Stuffed Meat Loaf

  2. 3/4 pound mild Italian link sausages

  3. 2 eggs

  4. 1/2 cup milk

  5. 2 slices bread

  6. 1 teaspoon salt and pepper

  7. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  8. 1 teaspoon dry mustard

  9. 1 teaspoon beef stock

  10. 1 small onion

  11. 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

  12. 1/4 cup ketchup

  13. 1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard

  14. 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

  15. 4 large boiling potatoes

  16. 2 teaspoons butter, softened

  17. Simmer sausages in water to cover 10 minutes. Drain. Place eggs,

  18. milk, bread, salt, Worcestershire, dry mustard, stock base and onions in blender container. Cover. Blend til smooth. Place ground

  19. meat in mixing bowl. Pour in blender contents. Mix until smooth.

  20. Pat half of meat loaf mixture in bottom of crockery pot. cover with

  21. sausages. Top with remaining meat loaf. Pat to seal. Combine

  22. catsup, mustard, and brown sugar. Spread over meat. Peel potatoes.

  23. Cut in strips (French Fry style). Coat well with butter and place

  24. around meat. Cover. Cook on high 1 hour and reduce to LOW and cook

  25. for 6 hours.
