  1. 1 Red cabbage head - shredded (medium)

  2. 1 Apple - peeled, chopped fine (medium)

  3. 1/4 cup 40g / 1.4oz Raisins

  4. 1/4 cup 49g / 1.7oz Sugar

  5. 1/4 cup 59ml Vinegar

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  7. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Pepper

  8. 1 tablespoon 15ml Margarine

  1. Recipe Instructions In a large skillet cook cabbage, apple and raisins, covered, in a small amount of boiling water for 5 to 7 minutes, or until crisp-tender; drain. In a small mixing bowl combine sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add to cabbage mixture in skillet. Add margarine. Cook, covered, for 3 to 4 minutes, or until heated through, stirring twice.
