  1. Meatballs In Chile Sauce

  3. 3 6-inch corn tortillas, cut into pieces

  4. 1/2 lb ground beef

  5. 1/2 lb ground ham, smoked, cooked

  6. 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

  7. 1 tsp oregano leaves, dried

  8. 1/4 tsp pepper

  9. 1 cup beef broth

  10. 1/2 cup milk

  11. 1/2 lb ground pork

  12. 1/4 cup onion, chopped

  13. 1 tsp cumin, ground

  14. 1/2 tsp salt

  15. 1 cup red chile sauce

  16. Place tortilla pieces and milk in large bowl, let stand 15 minutes.

  17. Mix in remaining ingredients except basic red sauce and broth.

  18. Shape into 1-inch balls. Heat basic red sauce and broth to boiling

  19. in 10-inch skillet, reduce heat. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer

  20. 15 to 20 minutes.
