  1. 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

  2. 1/3 c evaporated milk, undiluted

  3. 1 1/2 c sifted powdered sugar

  4. 1/2 c nuts, finely chopped (we use pecans)

  1. Stir chocolate pieces and milk in a heavy 2 qt. saucepan over very low heat. When chocolate is melted, remove from heat.

  2. Stir in powdered sugar until well mixed.

  3. Stir in nuts and cherries.

  4. Chill mixture until cool enough to handle.

  5. Using 2 teaspoons, form a ball and roll in coconut.

  6. Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
