  1. 1 1/2 c Pink lentils

  2. 3/4 ts Turmeric

  3. 2 ts Salt

  4. 5 tb Ghee

  5. 6 lg Garlic cloves

  1. Wash lentils.

  2. Place in a deep pot with the turmeric & 5 cups of water.

  3. Bring to a bol, stirring often.

  4. Reduce heat to medium-low & simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. Turn off heat & beat lentils with a wire whisk to smooth the puree.

  6. Stir in the salt.

  7. When ready to serve, simemr the puree till piping hot.

  8. Heat the ghee in a skillet.

  9. When hot, add garlic slices & fry till they start to turn brown.

  10. Pour this over the lentil puree.

  11. Stir to mix & serve.
