  1. 2 pounds hamburger

  2. 1 medium onion , chopped

  3. 1 small green pepper , seeded and chopped

  4. 1 tablespoon dried oregano

  5. 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  6. 1 can mushroom s, drained

  7. 1 large can tomato paste

  8. 2 cans water Olive Oil salt and pepper to taste your favorite pasta , cooked and drained

  1. Saute onions and green pepper in olive oil until tender and then add the hamburger to the olive oil mixture. Cook until the hamburger is completely browned and then drain the entire mixture. Put mixture back into the large skillet that you sauteed the hamburger and vegetables in. Mix all other ingredients with the hamburger mixture. Simmer over a medium heat for 2 hours or longer. You may need to continue to need to add more water to the sauce as it cooks. You can also adjust the herbs to suit your taste. Pour sauce over your favorite cooked and drained pasta. Top with cheese, if desired.
