  1. 2 cups cornmeal

  3. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  4. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  5. 1 tablespoon sugar -or- honey

  6. 1 egg

  7. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  8. 1 cup buttermilk -or- sour milk

  9. 1 cup lowfat -- milk

  10. 1 tablespoon vinegar

  1. Preparation : Combine the cornmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl. Mix well. Pour into a lightly oiled 8-inch-square baking pan. Bake in a 400-degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
