  4. 2 tb Light Molasses Or Syrup

  5. 2 tb Shortening, Melted

  6. 2 c Whole Wheat Flour

  7. 1 ts Baking Powder

  8. 1 ts Baking Soda

  9. 1/2 ts Salt

  10. 1 c Walnuts; Chopped, Optional

  11. 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
