  1. 1 (10 ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust

  2. 1 pound ground beef Salt and pepper to taste

  3. 1 (16 ounce) jar tomato based salsa

  4. 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese

  5. 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

  6. 1/4 cup sliced green onion

  7. 1 (4-ounce) can green chilies, drained

  1. Heat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 12-inch round pizza pan or 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; sprinkle with cornmeal. Press dough into prepared pan.

  2. Meanwhile, brown ground beef over medium-high heat in skillet; season with salt and pepper. Drain well. Cool slightly.

  3. Spread salsa onto crust to within 1-inch of edge (if using pizza pan). Sprinkle with half the Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar cheese. Top with ground beef, green onions, and chilies. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake at for 17 to 22 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
