  3. 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  4. 1/2 cup margarine

  5. 3/4 cup brown sugar

  6. 2 large eggs

  7. 1 teaspoon instant coffee -- crystals

  8. 2 tablespoons water

  9. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  10. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  11. RASPBERRY TRUFFLE FILLING:

  12. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  13. 1/4 teaspoon instant coffee -- crystals

  14. 1 package cream cheese --

  15. 8 oz

  16. 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  17. 1/3 cup seedless red raspberry preserves

  18. GLAZE:

  19. 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  20. 1 teaspoon shortening

  1. Brownies: In saucepan over low heat, melt morsels and margarine; coolslightly. In large mixing bowl, beat sugar and eggs. Add chocolate mixtureandcoffee dissolved in water. Mix well. Stir in baking powder and flour; blendwell. Spread in greased 9x9 pan. Bake at 350^ for 30-35 minutes or untiltoothpick tests clean.

  2. Raspberry Truffle Filling: Melt chocolate with coffee in pan over low heat.

  3. Set aside. In small mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until fluffy;

  4. addpowdered sugar and preserves. Beat until fluffy. Beat in melted chocolatemixture until well blended. Spread over cooled browned layer.

  5. Glaze: In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate and shortening.

  6. Drizzleover truffle layer. Chill 1-2 hours. Cut into bars.
