  1. 1 lb. ground beef

  2. 1 medium onion, chopped

  3. 2 garlic cloves, minced

  4. 8 oz. mexican

  5. 4 cheese blend, divided

  6. 1 can refried beans

  7. 1 4 1/2 oz can chopped green chiles, drained

  8. 1/2 c. picante sauce

  9. 12 (8 inch) flour tortillas

  10. 3 ingredients in until beef is no longer pink. Drain Stir in

  11. 1 1/2 cups cheese, refried beans, chiles, and picante sauce. Place

  12. 1/4 cup mixture just below center of each tortilla. Fold opposite sides of tortillas over filling, forming rectangles. Secure with toothpicks.

  13. 425 F for 8 minutes; turn chimichangas over and bake

  14. 5 minutes more. Remove picks and serve immediately with remaining

  15. 1/2 cup cheese and other toppings (sour cream, salsa, guacamole, etc)
