  1. 3/4 cup sugar

  2. 1 Tablespoon flour

  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  5. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  6. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

  7. 1/4 cup unsulphured molasses

  8. 2 cups mashed, cooked pumpkin

  9. 3 large eggs

  10. 1 cup undiluted evaporated milk or light cream One 9-inch, unbaked single-crust pie shell

  1. Preparation: Mix together the sugar, flour, salt, ginger , cinnamon , and cloves. Add the molasses , pumpkin , and eggs. Mix well. Stir in evaporated milk or cream. Pour mixture into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Bake in a preheated hot oven (400 degrees F.) 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool pie before serving.
