  1. 2 lb. frozen "Southern Style" hash brown potatoes (These are the little cubed kind.)

  2. 1 stick margarine

  3. 1 can cream of chicken soup

  4. 1/2 medium onion, chopped fine

  5. 2 cups grated cheddar cheese

  6. 16 oz sour cream

  7. salt and pepper to taste

  8. 350 F for one hour. Serves

  9. Notes-the last time I made this, I cut the amount of margarine by about a third with no difference in the outcome. I also use fat free sour cream, low fat cheese and reduced fat soup and it's still yummy.
