  1. 2 cups cooked chickpeas

  2. 3 minced garlic cloves

  3. 2 cups no salt added vegetable broth

  4. cup uncooked whole wheat macaroni

  5. 2 cups chopped seeded tomatoes

  6. teaspoon cayenne pepper

  7. 1 teaspoon oregano

  8. 1 teaspoon basil

  9. 1 teaspoon marjoram

  10. cup Parmesan cheese

  11. Black Pepper to taste

  12. Vegetable oil for cooking

  13. Heat vegetable oil in pot over medium heat and cook onions and garlic until softened. Add broth, uncooked pasta, and simmer for about five minutes. Stir in tomatoes, cayenne, marjoram, basil, oregano and chickpeas then simmer until pasta is cooked. Place in individual serving bowls and sprinkle cheese on top. Serve warm.
