  1. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Bread crumbs

  2. 1/4 cup 36g / 1 1/3oz Parmesan cheese

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Garlic powder

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Onion powder

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Minced fresh thyme

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Minced fresh oregano

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Minced fresh basil

  8. 2 teaspoons 10ml Paprika

  9. Salt - to taste

  10. Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

  11. 2 Eggs

  12. 2 Egg whites

  13. 1 teaspoon 5ml Hot pepper sauce

  14. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts - halved

  15. 3 tablespoons 45ml Olive oil

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and spices in a plastic bag. In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs and egg whites. Add the hot pepper sauce.

  3. Dip each chicken breast into beaten eggs. Roll in the bread crumb mixture.

  4. Spread the chicken breasts out on a cookie sheet. Drizzle olive oil on each chicken breast.

  5. Bake the chicken for 30 to 35 minutes until no traces of pink remain.
