  1. 2 lb Chuck steak, cut 1" cubes

  2. 1/2 c Catsup

  3. 1/4 c Brown sugar, packed

  4. 1 t Salt

  5. Celery, sliced 1/4 c Cooking oil

  6. 1 c Water

  7. 1/4 c Vinegar

  8. 1 tb Worcestershire sauce

  9. 1 lg Onion, sliced

  10. 1 c Carrots, drained

  11. 30 minutes. Brown meat and remove from skillet. Pour simmered sauce into pan drippings of skillet. Place meat in baking dish. Pour sauce over. Bake at

  12. 325 F. for abt.

  13. 30 min. Add carrots and bake abt.

  14. 20 min. more. Garnish with chopped parsley or sprigs, pimento or make a rice ring of

  15. 3 cups cooked rice.
