  1. 1 cup 237ml Milk

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Vegetable oil

  3. 2 cups 396g / 13oz Sugar

  4. 1 Coconut - shelled and grated

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground green cardamom

  1. Recipe Instructions Lightly grease a medium size shallow baking pan or cookie sheet. In a large saucepan, bring the milk and oil to a boil over medium heat. Stir in the sugar and add the grated coconut and cardamom, stirring constantly for 6-8 minutes, until the coconut becomes thick and glazed. Remove from the heat and pour into the baking pan. Cool, cut into squares, and serve.
