  8. 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  9. 1/4 cup lemon juice

  10. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  11. 1/2 cup jellied cranberry sauce

  12. 2 cups finely chopped peeled apple

  13. 1 cup dark raisins

  14. 1 cup golden raisins

  15. 1 cup chopped walnuts

  16. 2 teaspoons grated orange rind

  19. 1 tablespoon sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In large bowl, combine 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar with all of the spices. Stir in butter, lemon juice, vanilla, and cranberry sauce. Add apple, raisins, walnuts, and orange and lemon rind. Place pie crust in bottom of 9" pan. Add filling; top with second crust. Fold top pastry under the bottom at the edge and pinch together with fingers; crimp edges in decorative pattern. Cut some slits in the top crust. Brush with milk and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Bake 35-45 minutes until filling is hot and bubbling and crust is golden brown. Cool for 1 hour, then cut into wedges to serve.
