  1. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  2. 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

  3. 1 cup wheat bran cereal

  4. 1 cup quick-cooking oats

  5. 1 1/2 cups sugar

  6. 2 tablespoons baking powder

  7. 2 teaspoons salt

  8. Combine all ingredients in a large airtight container. Store at room temperature until ready to use. Stir well before measuring for the muffin recipe. Yield: about 6 cups.

  9. Blueberry Muffins

  10. 3 cups Muffin Mix

  11. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  12. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  13. 1 1/4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

  14. 1 cup milk

  15. 2 eggs

  16. 1/4 cup applesauce

  17. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  18. 425 F for 15-18 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool in pan

  19. 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack. (Can substitute other kinds of berries for blueberries and/or add nuts.) Yield: about 1 dozen.
