  1. 1/4 c Soy sauce

  2. 3 tb Honey

  3. 2 tb Dry sherry

  4. 2 lg Cloves garlic, minced

  5. 1 tb Fresh lemon juice

  6. 1 tb Hoisin sauce

  7. 1/4 ts Chinese five-spice powder

  8. 1/4 ts Hot pepper sauce

  9. 3 1/2 lb Country-style pork ribs, cut into single

  10. Serving sized pieces

  11. 1 c Water

  12. Green onion curls (OPTIONAL)

  13. Lemon slices, halved

  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, sherry, garlic, lemon juice, hoisin sauce, five-spice powder, and hot pepper sauce in a small bowl.

  2. Place ribs in a plastic bag; pour marinade over ribs, turning to coat.

  3. Seal bag and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, turning once.

  4. Drain marinade into microwave measure; set aside.

  5. Place ribs and water in 14x20-inch oven cooking bag; tie bag loosely and place in microwave baking dish.

  6. Microcook ribs at Medium for 40 minutes, turning bag and rearranging ribs after 20 minutes.

  7. Remove ribs from bag and place in microwave-safe cooking dish.

  8. Pour reserved marinade over ribs, turning to coat.

  9. Cover dish with lid, or vent one corner of plastic wrap, and continue cooking at Medium for 10 minutes; rearranging ribs after 5 minutes.

  10. Serve hot.

  11. Garnish with green onion curls and lemon slices, if desired.
