Liz’s Pecan Pie

    1. 4 eggs, slightly beaten

    2. 1 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)

    3. 1 c. sugar

    4. 1 tbsp. butter, melted

    5. 1 tsp. vanilla

    6. 2 c. pecans

    7. 2 unbaked pie shells

    1. In a large bowl, stir together eggs, syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended. Add pecans. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted half-way comes out clean. Cool. Each pie serves 8.
