  1. Walnut Tart w/Raspberry Topping

  2. 1/2 lb flour

  3. 4 oz unsalted butter, softened

  4. 2 oz sugar

  5. 1 lg egg

  6. 1/8 tsp salt

  7. 7 1/2 oz brown sugar

  8. 4 lg eggs

  9. 2 1/2 oz flour

  10. 1/8 tsp cinnamon

  11. 1/8 tsp baking powder

  12. 1/2 lb walnuts, chopped

  13. 6 oz raspberry jelly

  14. 3/4 lb raspberries, fresh

  15. whipped cream

  17. Combine the flour, butter, sugar, egg and salt and mix on low speed

  18. just until blended. Set aside.

  19. Combine the brown sugar and eggs; mix on medium speed until light

  20. and fluffy. Add the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder until

  21. thoroughly blended. Add the chopped walnuts and stir until

  22. incorporated.

  23. Place jelly in saucepan over low heat; stir until melted and add

  24. the fresh raspberries. Remove from heat and set aside.

  25. Press crust in bottom and 1-inch up sides of prepared fluted tart

  26. 400F oven until golden, about 8 minutes.

  27. Cool for a few minutes on wire rack and lower oven temperature to

  28. 350F. Pour filling into baked shell. Bake in a

  29. 350F oven until

  30. filling is firm, about 25-30 minutes. Coll completely on wire rack.

  31. Spread raspberry topping on cooled tart and garnish with whipped

  32. cream and walnut halves.
