  1. 112 g can whole green chilies, rinsed, drained and cut into strips

  2. 168 g shredded Monterey Jack cheese

  3. 1 cup sour cream

  4. 3 large eggs

  5. 1/4 tsp. salt

  6. 1/4 tsp. pepper

  7. prepared salsa

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the inside of a 9 inch square baking dish. Arrange the chili strips in the bottom of the prepared dish. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack over the chili strips. Whisk together the sour cream and eggs in a small bowl until blended. Stir in salt and pepper. Pour the sour cream mixture over the chili strips. Bake about 25 minutes until the custard is set in the center. Serve warm with salsa.
