  3. 1/2 cup boiling water

  4. 1/2 cup sifted pastry flour

  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  6. 2 eggs

  1. Put oil, water, and salt into a saucepan.

  2. When boiling, throw in the dry flour all at once, and stir until a smooth paste is formed.

  3. Cool this mixture, then beat in the eggs, one at a time.

  4. Drop teaspoons of this dough into the boiling soup and cook ten minutes or longer.
