  1. 1 Onion, peeled

  2. 2 Potatoes

  3. 1 Carrot

  4. 2 pounds Extra-lean ground beef

  5. 2 Eggs -OR-

  6. 4 Egg whites -OR- cup Thawed egg substitute cup Non-fat milk

  7. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (opt)

  8. 1 teaspoon Dried thyme or other herb Salt or seasoned salt -AND- Pepper to taste

  1. Put onion, potatoes and carrot through a shredder, or the fine shredding disk of a food processor (it's not necessary to pare potato and carrot). Combine with remaining ingredients; mix well. Shape into a loaf on a non-stick baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350-degree oven 1 hour. Makes 10 servings, 170 calories each.
