  1. 2 tablespoons peanut oil

  2. 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  3. 1 pound stew beef, diced

  4. 3/4 pound scallops

  5. 1 tablespoon water

  6. 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

  7. 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  8. 1 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper

  1. In a skillet heat peanut oil until almost smoking. Add chopped garlic clove and diced stew beef, stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in scallops, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds. Add water, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and white pepper. Stir-fry for another 20 to 30 seconds.
