  1. 6 Trout fillets - (fresh) (4 to 6)

  2. 1 Clams

  3. 3 tablespoons 45ml Butter

  4. 3 tablespoons 45ml Chopped onion

  5. 2 cups 292g / 10oz Soft bread crumbs

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  7. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Pepper

  8. 1 Cheddar cheese soup

  9. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chopped parsley

  10. 1 tablespoon 15ml Butter melted

  11. 3 tablespoons 45ml Fine dry bread crumbs

  12. 2 tablespoons 30ml Pimento - chopped

  1. Recipe Instructions Drain clams and rinse. Melt butter and saute onions until tender. Add clams, bread cubes, salt and pepper and toss lightly. Arrange 1/2 of the fillets on a raised rack in a greased baking dish. Top with stuffing and cover with remaining fillets. Combine soup, parsley and pimento. Spread evenly over fillets. Top the fillets with a mix of bread crumbs and melted butter. Bake at 450F for 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
