  4. 1/2 c Cocoa

  5. 1/3 c Buttermilk; milk or water

  6. 1 ts Vanilla

  7. 1 3/4 c All-purpose flour

  8. Or whole wheat flour 1/2 ts Baking soda

  9. 1/2 ts Salt

  10. 1 c Chopped nuts; if desired

  11. Chocolate frosting 2 oz Unsweetened chocolate

  12. 2 tb Margarine or butter

  13. 3 tb Water

  14. 2 c Powdered sugar; about 400 degrees. Mix, sugar, margarine, egg, cocoa, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and nuts. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart into ungreased cookie sheet. Bake

  15. 8 to 10 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched; cool. Frost with Chocolate Frosting. ABOUT 4-1/2 DOZEN COOKIES;
