  2. 1/4 cup sugar

  3. 2 Tbspns butter

  4. 3 Tbspns lemon juice

  1. Pare carrots. Cut into circles or strips (you can also use baby carrots). Cook in boiling water until barely tender. Drain. Melt butter in skillet; add sugar and lemon juice. Simmer until sugar dissolves. Add carrots and simmer 10 minutes. Turn often.
