  5. 1/4 lb Margarine (one stick)

  6. 1 1/4 c Graham cracker crumbs

  7. 1 c Coconut, shredded

  8. 1 1/4 c Chocolate chips

  9. 1 3/4 c Condensed milk,

  10. -sweetened (1 can)

  11. Melt the margarine in a 9x13-inch pan. Combine with

  12. graham cracker crumbs and spread evenly on bottom of

  13. pan. Sprinkle coconut evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle

  14. chocolate chips evenly over coconut. Pour condensed

  15. milk evenly over everything. Bake for 30 minutes at

  16. 350 degrees F.

  17. Let cool for a bit. Cut into squares and enjoy. Mom

  18. insists on using "Borden Eagle Brand" sweetened

  19. condensed milk. Don't ask me why.

  20. NOTES:

  21. A nicely fattening combination of coconut and chocolate chips -- This comes from Mom. (She doesn't

  22. know where she got it; she memorized it years ago and lost the original recipe.) It's always been a favorite

  23. with us kids, and last time I was home she gave me the

  24. recipe. It's so simple that even a complete clutz like

  25. myself was able to make it perfectly the first time.
