  1. INGREDIENTS:

  2. 1 tsp saltred chilli powder according to tasteturmeric powder according to taste

  3. 1 chicken

  4. 2 onions

  5. 1 tbsp chopped ginger

  6. 1 tbsp chopped garlic

  7. 2 tbsp chopped coriander

  8. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  9. 6 cardamoms

  10. 6 cloves

  11. 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  12. 350 ml yogurt

  13. 500 gm half cooked rice

  14. 3 tbsp oil? cup browned onions

  15. 1 tbsp lemon juice

  16. DIRECTION:

  17. 2-3 hours. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, cardamom, clove and cinnamon. When they splutter, add the marinated chicken and cook until tender. Mix in the chopped coriander.Take a heavy pan and arrange the chicken and rice in layers. Squeeze a lemon on the top layer and scatter browned onions. Seal the pan with atta and cook over a very slow flame for 40-50 minutes. Serve hot.
