  1. 3 mangoes , peeled, pitted and sliced

  2. 2 tablespoons lime juice

  3. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  4. 1 cup flour

  5. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  8. 3 tablespoons butter , cold

  9. 1/2 cup milk

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.

  2. Combine mangoes, lime juice, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl. Stir until mango is coated with lime and nutmeg. Spoom fruit into a greased 8 inch square pan.

  3. In another bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Mix well.

  4. Using a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the dry mix until it resembles a course meal. Stir in milk, mix until smooth.

  5. Spread batter evenly over fruit. Bake at 375ºF for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned on top. ?
