  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Broad egg noodles - cooked as directed

  2. 2 cups 474ml Applesauce - unsweetened

  3. 6 Eggs - beaten

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  5. 2 teaspoons 10ml Cinnamon

  6. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Margarine - melted

  7. 2 teaspoons 10ml Vanilla extract

  8. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Granulated sugar

  1. Pre-heat oven to 325F.

  2. Combine margarine and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in eggs, beating until light and frothy. Add remaining ingredients, including noodles. Pour mixture into lightly greased 4-quart baking dish (10 x 12 inches). Bake for 1 hour. Let cool completely before cutting, then reheat.

  3. Freezes well.
