  1. Cake

  2. 3/4 cup 46g / 1.6oz Cake flour - sifted

  3. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Baking powder

  4. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  5. 5 Eggs

  6. 3/4 cup 148g / 5 1/5oz Sugar

  7. 2 tablespoons 30ml Sugar

  8. 2 1/2 Unsweetened chocolate

  9. 1/4 cup 59ml Cold water

  10. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Soda

  11. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Confectioners sugar

  12. Frosting

  13. 1 Dream whip

  14. 1/2 cup 118ml Milk - cold

  15. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Mint or peppermint flavoring

  16. 2 Green food coloring

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Beat eggs until thick and light; beat in 3/4 cup sugar gradually. Add flour mixture all at once; blend gently.

  2. Melt chocolate; stir in the water, soda and the remaining sugar until smooth. Add to the batter quickly. Pour into greased waxed paper-lined 15x10" jelly roll pan.

  3. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes at 350F.

  4. Invert the cake on a towel sprinkled with confectioners sugar; remove paper. Trim cake edges. Roll towel and cake; cool for 30 minutes.

  5. Beat Dream Whip with milk and mint flavoring until stiff peaks form; beat in food coloring. Unroll cake, discarding towel. Spread cake with Dream Whip.

  6. Roll cake again; frost with Dream Whip. Chill until ready to serve.
