  1. 4 med. size Tomatoes

  2. 2 cups Macaroni (elbow)

  3. 6 Tbsp Butter, divided

  4. 1/4 cup Flour

  5. 2 cups Milk

  6. 1 1/2 tsp Oregano, divided

  7. 1 tsp Salt

  8. 1/4 tsp Pepper

  9. 2 cups shredded Cheddar

  10. 1 cup soft Bread crumbs

  11. Preheat oven to 350 F

  12. 4 tbsp of the butter. Add flour, cook for 2 minutes. Add milk,

  13. 1 tsp of the Oregano, salt & pepper. Cook until thickened. remove from heat and blend in shredded cheese. Add macaroni, mix well.

  14. In a greased casserole put 1/2 the macaroni mixture and top with a layer of sliced tomatoes. Repeat ending with tomatoes.

  15. 2 Tbsp of butter. Add bread crumbs and reamining Oregano. Toss and spoon around the outside edge of the casserole. Bake

  16. 20 minutes.

  17. Serves 6
