  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  2. 2 garlic cloves, pressed

  3. 1 teaspoon minced peeled fresh ginger

  4. 1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper

  5. 16 uncooked jumbo shrimp , peeled, deveined

  6. 4 12-inch-long wooden skewers, soaked in water

  7. 30 minutes

  8. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  9. Lemon or lime wedges

  1. Mix olive oil, garlic, minced ginger and crushed red pepper. Add shrimp, turning to coat with oil mixture refrigerate 2 hours.

  2. Prepare your grill or preheat broiler. Skewer 4 shrimp on each of 4 skewers. Grill or broil just until cooked through, about 3 minutes per side. Sprinkle shrimp with chopped cilantro.
