  1. 2 cups brown sugar

  2. 1 egg

  3. 1 cup shortening

  4. 3 tablespoons vanilla

  5. 1 cup flour

  6. 3 cups quick oats

  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  9. 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  10. 1 tablespoon nutmeg

  1. Cream wet ingredients. Mix dry ingredients then combine with wet ingredients.

  2. I like to use 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening or 1/2 butter and 1/2 coconut oil. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
