    1. 1/4 cup Argo or Kingsford's Cornstarch

    2. 2 cups bread flour

    3. 3 teaspoons baking powder

    4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

    5. 1/2 cup corn syrup

    6. 2 eggs

    7. 7/8 cup milk

    8. 1/4 cup corn oil

    1. Instructions Stir the dry ingredients and stir in the milk, eggs, corn syrup and corn oil. Beat until bubbly, pour into a good-sized shallow pan oiled with corn oil, and bake twenty-five minutes in a moderate oven, 350 to 375 degrees F. Cut in squares and serve warm.
